single serve coffee
There’s a lot to love about single serve coffee pods when it comes to convenience. But the quality of some coffee pods, particularly from big retail stores? That’s a different story. Rather than drinking mass-blended coffee that sat in a warehouse and on a shelf for months on end, Cooper’s Cask Coffee takes a different approach.
We take our grade 1, premium imported single origin coffee beans and load them into an empty spirit barrel—aging them up to 60 days before freshly roasting. We use this process for all of our barrel aged coffee products—giving you the option to choose your favorite based on your unique tastes!
Don’t Sacrifice Quality For Convince
It’s great when you can find a more convenient way to get what you want. When it comes to coffee, sometimes you don’t want to commit to brewing a full pot, or maybe you just want to grab a quick cup when you’re in a hurry. Convenience on its own isn’t a bad thing, but it should never get in the way of quality. Unfortunately, many companies selling single serve coffee pods fall into this exact trap.
That doesn’t sit right with the team at Cooper’s Cask Coffee. We believe no company worth its name should ever provide customers with an inferior product, regardless of the reason. You should never have to choose between speed and quality, and that’s what prompted us to develop a way for customers to have both! Our single serve coffee pods use our same process for importing, aging, and roasting to ensure you get the same quality you’ve come to expect with Cooper’s.
In addition to quality, we’ve put another twist on our single serve coffee pods: barrel aging. What is barrel aging? It’s an age-old process originally used to complement the natural flavors of spirits like bourbon, whiskey, rum, wine, and more. Factoring in temperature and environment, the wood from the barrel allows vapor to pass through and oxygen to enter in, while also acting as a filter to remove any unwanted flavors.
Turns out, you can use the exact same process with coffee beans! Our coffee pods use the same premium grade 1, single origin coffee beans from around the world—where we then age them 45 to 60 days in an emptied barrel before roasting. By placing our beans into coffee pods, you can enjoy a cup of signature barrel aged coffee when you need it fast.
And we know that people love options. That’s why we make our entire Barrel Aged series coffees available in single serve form! Pick your favorite type, or get a variety pack and enjoy the unique complexities, flavors, notes and subtleties offered by each region and its accompanying spirit.
Don’t compromise quality for convenience—have both with our single serve, barrel aged coffee pods! If you’re not quite sure which coffee might fit your profile, we recommend using our product match tool to find the bag that best fits your tastes!
